"Free at last!!!"
As a black man coming up age in the 1980s I really did not understand what that meant. Where I had heard about the injustices visited on black people prior to the 1960s I could not fully understand them. How could you unless you lived through them. Imagine being born in the 1900s like this lady from Atlanta was with her current age of 106. Imagine being born 3 decades removed from slavery but to into a society where you could not vote because you were black and a woman!!! I imagine the experience of living through a 14 year old boy being beaten beyond recognition because he whistled at a white woman!!! Imagine the police beating a black man simply because they looked at a white woman. Imagine going to jail if not beaten to death for being seen dating a white woman. My cousin was dragged to his death, tie to a police cruiser in the 1960s for just such an offense. At one point in 29 states you got a 10 year jail sentence for marrying outside your race. Imagine having to ride the back of the bus. Yes paying your fee at the front door but then having to go to the back. Imagine having to have to give up the seat you paid for just so a white person did not have to stand. Imagine going through a school system that promoting racism at a early age by promoting segration. Imagine watching people beaten or killed just because they felt you deserve the same rights as other human beings. In our country racism has been a cancer that has been slowly seeping the life out of our society since the end of the Civil War. Racism was the by product of the hatred brought about from the loss of a way of life!!! The Southern way of life that said a white man could own a black man!!! In my life time I can actually say I truly have experienced what "Free at last!!!" means. In mother lifetime man of vision like Martin Luther King were shot like animals!!! In my lifetime though people like Barack Obama are seen as a potential great leader that could set our world straight. The latter might not be the case but the fact that a black man was given the opportunity to be the most powerful man on our planet shows great progress. It gives hope to the people who still remember having to ride on the back of the bus and the ones who watched a loved one beaten to death just because he was black!!!! Yes!!! We are "free at last!!!" |

The mayor is back
I went to Club Hell for the first time in awhile. To my suprise Alan and his crew was back and they had the place rocking. I mentioned to someone to make the night complete the Mayor would have to show up. Lo and behold ten minutes later the "Mayor" aka Charcoal and Ass shows wearing the same outfit they probably banned him in years back. He did not miss a beat. Some young lady ran into a issue that got her thrown out of the Club and the good old mayor did his octopuss act of fondly her while he promised to take of the issue. Yes he is still a smoke blower. Needless to say he had no control of the issue but the talk at I-Hop probably centered around him being a great guy for doing the "knight in shining armor" routine. After 3 years I would the guys started washing his clothes. |

Obama vs. Hillary
It is sad to see the two main democratic players go at like cat and dogs. It really shows how unified the party truly is not. They say it is not about a "Black Man" and a "White Woman" but that is total bull! Your average voter will always look at race, sex, religion, and any other noticeable traits to make a decision on who they will vote for. For Hillary's part what little respect I had for her has gone with the wind. She has gone through Obama's closet with a telescope to dig up any dirt she could find. For Obama he has handle Hillary's crap throwing with dignity. Hillary was the first lady as well as a Senator for two terms. Does that give her a better chance of running our country compared to a first term Senator? That is a question only time can answer. Myself personally I believe Obama is the right choice. Not because he is man but simply because he is needed change. McCain is a dinosaur and putting another Clinton in the White house scares me. |

The Pats are not perfect
The Pats fell short of their perfect season. The NY Giants upset the mighty ones. I give the Giants their due. Eli Manning showed big brother how to get it done. I hate the Pats but I must give them their due too. Undefeated regular season and the first team to go 18 and 0. Yes give them their due. The 1972 Dolphins are still the perfect team but they best show NE some respect and worship the ground that Eli Manning walks on. |

Roger Clemens and the Steroid Kings How the mighty have fallen. Clemens, Bonds, Tejada, Sosa, and McGwire to name a few. I have no problems with these guys using steroids. I really do not. I have a more of problem with the little bitches who had ratted them out. I also have a problem with players who have used roids but denied the usage. Being quit has honor. Being the rat or the liar does not. Shame on the rats and the liars. |

The Patriots
To be honest I have never really like the Pats. Mostly because of the fans in New England. Yes I have never like the Pats but I respect the way they were getting the job done. That respect is all but gone now. Some faded away when Bill B got caught with the camera. I lost more respect in recent weeks when I noted the Pats were running up the score in games. Dallas, Miami, and now Washington were confirmation of that and Bill B's comments after the Red Skin game were the final straw. You do not throw the ball deep on 4th and 2 with a 30 point lead. That is class less. Yes you are taught to play hard but you are also taught to respect your opponents and the game! Bill B has forgotten the latter. Maybe out of anger of what was said when he got caught cheating with the camera. Yes he got cheating. It does not matter who else was doing it because he was the one that caught. Some NE fans are happy with the scores. I doubt those same fans are fans of the game. Fans of the game know the unspoken rules. |

NY Yankees are done!
Most people would say stick a fork into them. I say give them credit from coming from 14 back to make it worth watching. I was amazed that Yankees did so well with such a horrible pitching staff. When Wang is your ace you are in trouble. The great thing that should come out of this season is Arod should be crowned the AL MVP. Yes he carried the Yankees into the playoffs. New England fans can stroke Manny and Oritz all year but neither one of those player's carreers have come even close to Arod's. Arod is not Mr. October but he is probably one of the best if not the best player in the game. |

DR. Who Spoiler
The Master is back! Actually probably the best episode of the season which is saying a lot. The show for the most is still weak. The writing is not very good on the whole but they have produce a few decent episodes. Never will match Tom Baker's reign but alas that can only be one number one guy! |

Always remember he will be there for you
If you find yourself in need of drink and do not have the money or you are under age he will be there for you. Yes he will buy you that drink!. If you need a ride to pick up some smokes, grab some sushi, or go to a goth show he will be there for you. If you find yourself at Bickerford's, I-Hop, or Denny's with no cash in hand and you need breakfast he will be there for you. Yes if you need someone to wipe your hiney even though I can not imagine he even wipes his he will be there for you. The only requirement is you need to be in a skirt and be willing to put up with that stench of "Charcoal and Ass" and yes he will be there for you. |

Red Sox choking on it - Go Yankees
The Red Sox true to classic form hold a slim one and a half game lead over those "dam Yankees!" Just imagine being up 14 1/2 games to watch a massive lead dwindle to a mere game and a half. The mighty Theo with decisions that just dumb found even dumb people. Eric Gagne. JD Drew! Julio Lugo! 100+ million Dice-K. The most of them busts. They trade away Hanley Ramirez! A all star. Gabbard. 3-0 and since being traded. Willie Mo is on fire. They had Clay pitch a no hitter and decide to make him middle relief. Yes "Rocket Science technology not at work!" If the Yankees catch the Sox it will be the biggest come back in the history of the Al East. Yes the Red Sox will hang their heads in shame. For the fools who feel Ortiz does not need Manny's bat behind him in the order. Shame on you. Go Yankees and Arod is the best! |

The Patriots caught cheating
Yes the Pats got caught! Were they the only team doing it? Who cares and the the NE fans who spend more time considering the latter instead of accepting the former need to pull their heads out of their asses! The Pats got caught doing something that was wrong on so many levels. First! They as well as everyone else was warned not to do what they got caught doing. They did anyways which was basically a slap in the face of the NFL. Sportsmanship, honesty, and fair play. These are worlds that Mr. Bill needed to live by. He did not and that is a slap of the face of the NE organization and really shows his true character. He was all about winning! When other coaches get "caught" cheating we can point out how much they are a piece of shit too! 500K is a good start but Mr Bob "no nonsense" Kraft needs to also punished Mr B for his cheating ways. If he does not then he is saying it is oaky for his top level employees to cheat. I do not think Mr Kraft wants the league think he has no issue with cheating the system. Yes the Pats have a black eye and I was for one was glad to see the league kick them in the balls!!! |

Brittney Spears
I did not get to see Brittney Spears' performance but even if I did I would hope I have enough respect for her to remain silent. I note that the media loves to knock the rich and famous when they are hurting because that news sells. I find it amazing when I see negative things being written about people whose only crime is they do things to hurt themselves. Society in general seems to enjoy other people's suffering. I wonder if the latter is because it helps us forget our own issues for that brief moment. Last week a man left his two year girl in a car in 95 degree weather while he walked into a adult video store. A mother gave her kid crystal meth for whatever reasons. Those really horrible events got less coverage then Brittney's performance |

Arod
Is probably one of not the best player to play the game. He is the youngest player to reach all the major mile stones. Yes the youngest to reach 500 home runs. The most home runs by shortstop and a 3rd baseman. If he stays healthy he will eventually break Barry Bonds record. Never mind he needs 10 more home runs this season to own the AL record and the Yankees records. Yes that is right. A Yankee owns the AL home record and another Yankee might break it. |
